February Membership Tea

2012 is well under way and the Bastrop County Republican Women’s group is gearing up for the November elections. We want you to join us!. We will meet every 3rd Thursday at 7PM at the Bastrop FNB with the following exception this month:

The February meeting will be a membership Tea held at our BCRW President’s House on Thurs. Feb. 16th – 7 PM.

Please start thinking about who you will bring with you!  Neighbor, friend, co-worker, relative – someone who shares our beliefs?  As we march forward towards November this year – we need more helping hands!

Look forward to seeing everyone (and your guests!)for some light refreshments and good conversation.

Stephanie McBurney Lippke       6 votes                 11.76%
Byron A. Mitchell                             45 votes               88.24%

Trustee, District 2
David Lippke                                      10 votes               20.83%
Geno Chavarria                                 38 votes               79.17%

Bastrop ISD (7.6% turnout):
Trustee, Place 3
Johnny Sanders                                658 votes             37.41%
Mark Martyn                                     1,101 votes         62.59%

Trustee, Place 4
John Eaton                                          1,178 votes         66.86%
Gilbert Solis                                        584 votes             33.14%

Smithville ISD Tax Ratification (turnout % not available to me):
(For = increase the school tax; Against = do not increase the school tax)

For                                                         520 votes             57.71%
Against                                                 381 votes             42.29%
