Obama and Induced Delivery Abortions
August 26, 2008
First, I must warn you what you will see and hear on this video will be difficult to watch. This video describes the practice of Induced Delivery Abortions. It talks about how babies were left to die unattended, just because they were born alive instead of dead as the those that delivered the babies had hoped. This is infanticide.
Why does this matter to our Presidential election? Because Barack Obama voted against a bill that would stop this insane practice when he was in the illinois state senate.

New Bastrop Republican Office Opens
August 22, 2008
On Monday, August 25, 2008, the new office of the Bastrop County Republican Party will open to the public. This completes a month-long project which involved negotiating a favorable lease, negotiating an expense-share agreement, remodeling the new space, and moving in. The recent rains set us back a week. This last Tuesday, we were ready to open, but the rains exposed some leaks that damaged some of our remodeling. The landlord responded promptly, fixed the original problem, and finished repairing the interior damage today.
The office is located at 1109 Main St., Suite A in Bastrop, across the street from the Post Office. Locals know the building as the old lumberyard. Our mailing address will continue to be PO Box 375, Bastrop, TX 78602. Our phone number remains 303-1844.
Our hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or as long as the Chairman is on location. As volunteers line up to man the office, extended and weekend hours may also become available.
This is what we still need: donations to cover the remodelling expenses, volunteers to man the office, an internet-ready computer for office work, and visitors to come pick up campaign materials. If you can help out in one of these ways, please let me know by e-mailing bastropgop(at)austin.rr.com .
