What would you think if you were told that within the near future you could not have?

1. Any Private Property

2. Any Air Conditioning at your residence or office

3. All sources of Red Meat was outlawed

4. All water, even the rain run off, was the property of the Government

5. Your children or grandchildren were to be “assessed” and “assigned” their life’s job assignment by age 9

Scary? “Can’t happen in America?”

These items are all part of AGENDA 21 announced by the United Nations in 1992 and planned implementation through local (City, County and State) agency known as the International Council for Local Energy Initiatives (ICLEI.)

Using the deception that the “environment” is in danger and that ONLY by identifying the above as “UNSUSTAINABLE”, ICLEI is recruiting all government agencies to enforce regulations and pass laws to have the above become reality!

4. You are now in the Agenda 21 document.

Take time to read pages 337 (Ski Runs), 351 (No plows or fences), 728 (Commercial farming), 730 (Paved Roads or single dwelling homes, paved roads, railroads and even wall tiles), 733 (Range lands, technology, fish ponds, rangelands), 738 (modern recreational hunting), 755 (Dams and reservoirs and changing the course of rivers from natural course)

Please come to the presentation on this issue by John Marler, a member of the Williamson County tea Party and the Centex 9-12 organization. The presentation is at the First National Bank, Main Street, Smithville, Texas on the 15th of September, starting at 7:00 P.M.

This Thursday, May 19th at 7pm in Bastrop at the main Branch of First National Bank, The BCRW will be holding thier May Meeting. The speaker is Dr. Wayne Thorburn, former executive director of Young Americans for Freedom, former Exec. Dir. Republican Party of Texas, taught PoliSci @ Arkansas State U, Texas State U and U of Maryland. Was Regional Rep. for U.S. Dept. of Education during the Reagan administration and author of A Generation Awakes. Speaking to us on the subject of : “Before There Was a Tea Party: The Conservative Movement and the Republican Party”

Prepare For The Bastrop Republican Primary

Elgin, TX – Thursday, February 18, the Bastrop County Republican Women will host a meeting to get ready for the Republican Primary. Find out where to vote, meet local and state Republican candidates and find out how you can get involved. Local candidates will be in attendance and the BCRW has invited the Republican Railroad Commissioner candidates and the Texas Supreme Court candidates as well.

The meeting will be held at 7pm in the First National Bank Community Room, 1312 Highway 290, Elgin. Attendance is open to the public and refreshments will be provided. The meetings are heald in the repective First National Bank Community Rooms for each city at 7pm. Please contact us if you would like to speak at the meeting or if you would like to provide refreshments.

Senator Hegar & Representative Kleinschmidt in Bastrop

On November 19th Senator Glenn Hegar & State Representative Tim Kleinschmidt will both be
in Bastrop. Senator Hegar has been named the Chairman of the Sunset Advisory
Commission and received Legislator of the Year by the Texas Minining and Reclamation
Association and an award from Texans for Lawsuit Reform. He will be speaking about
the legislative session and the issues effecting our community.

Tim Kleinschmidt will also be in attendance and will be awarded by Texas for Fiscal Responsibility
For his performance in the last legislative session.

This is your opportunity to meet with and hear from our elected officials during the November joint
meeting of the Bastrop County Republican Party and the Bastrop County Republican Women.
The meeting will be held on November 19th at 7pm at the main branch of the First National Bank,

Republican Women’s Meeting In Smithville

Make plans to attend the Bastrop County Republican Women’s meeting in Smithville this month. It will be held Thirsday, June 19th at 7pm. The location of the meeting is the First National Bank Community Room on Main Street.

Speaking this month are Art & Rachel Kownslar and Dorothy Price. They will update us on their last trip to the border as representatives of the Minutemen.

We will also have updates from Local Bastrop Candidates.

Refreshments will be served. Please attend and bring a guest.

Elgin School Board Candidates to Speak

The next meeting for the Bastrop County Republican Women will be held in Elgin at 7pm in the First National Bank’s community room.

A non partisan introduction to the Elgin School Board Candidates will be held.

Candidates for the contested school board races in Smithville and Bastrop will be speaking at the Bastrop County Republican Women’s Meeting on March 20th at 7pm in Smithville at the First Natrions Bank community room on Main Street.

We will also have an update on the elections by the Bastrop County Republican Party Chairman Albert Ellison.

Please join us for the opportunity to ask the candidates for School Board questions that are important to you. The public is invited to attend and refreshments will be served.

We welcome all newcomers as well as established members to our March meeting of the Bastrop County Republican Women. We are definitely in full swing for the November election. It really is so important to start campaigning for our Republican candidates now. The democrats are out in force this year and are determined to keep Bastrop County predominantly democrat.
