This is a proud day for Republican Women everywhere and I know that personally I couldn’t be prouder of Sen. John McCain’s Choice for Vice-President.

Governor Sarah Palin is a true Republican Woman and a leading voice for genuine conservative values. A mother of 5 and a professional in her own right, Gov. Palin has made GOP history as the first Woman ever nominated for Vice-President.

Find out more about Governor Sarah Palin.

Below are some of the facts on Gov. Palin that have been forwarded to us from our Parent organization TFRW:

  • Governor Sarah Palin is a tough executive who has demonstrated during her time in office that she is ready to be president.
  • She has brought Republicans and Democrats together within her Administration and has seen approval ratings of over 80 percent.
  • She has challenged the influence of the big oil companies while fighting for the development of new energy resources.
  • She leads a state that matters to every one of us — Alaska has significant energy resources and she has been a leader in the fight to make America energy independent.
  • She has actually used her veto and cut budgetary spending. And she put a stop to the bridge to nowhere that would have cost taxpayers $400 million dollars. In Alaska, she challenged a corrupt system and passed a landmark ethics reform bill.
  • As the head of Alaska’s National Guard and as the mother of a soldier herself, Governor Palin understands what it takes to lead our nation and she understands the importance of supporting our troops.
  • Her experience in shaking up the status quo is exactly what is needed in Washington.
  • In choosing Governor Sarah Palin, John McCain put Washington on notice that he is serious about shaking up the status quo.
  • What we’re seeing is a maverick who has shaken up Washington picking as his teammate a maverick governor who has shaken up her own state.
  • What it’s going to take to change Washington is a team of Mavericks who have a record of accomplishment in shaking up the status quo.
The Texas GOP Chairman Tina Benkiser had this to say about Sen. John MCain’s Choice of Sarah Palin for Vice President:
“Texas Republicans are thrilled with Sen. McCain choice’s of Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate. Principled and fearless, Gov. Sarah Palin is an accomplished woman, successful conservative leader and loving mom. Gov. Palin is a servant leader who has the courage and conviction to reform government in Washington, D.C. and make it accountable to the people. With a commitment to finding common sense solutions to America’s challenges, the McCain-Palin team will truly shake-up the status quo, bring discipline back to Washington D.C., and secure a better future for America.”
As Republican Women I am proud of the choice made today, not only because a woman was nominated for Vice President, but because a conservative woman, with many of the same values and beliefs I hold, will, I believe, become the next Vice President of America.

Obama and Induced Delivery Abortions

First, I must warn you what you will see and hear on this video will be difficult to watch. This video describes the practice of Induced Delivery Abortions. It talks about how babies were left to die unattended, just because they were born alive instead of dead as the those that delivered the babies had hoped. This is infanticide.

Why does this matter to our Presidential election? Because Barack Obama voted against a bill that would stop this insane practice when he was in the illinois state senate.
